Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at Youth Opportunities Unlimited. If you're not fully satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns

Food Products: Due to the nature of the product we are unable to accept returns of food products or items containing food products.

Wood Products: We will accept returns of wood products for full refund if returned within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return:
- Your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it
- It must be in the original packaging, and
- You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Sale items are final sale.

Here are the situations where replacements are granted:
- Items damaged during delivery
- Items recalled due to manufacturing defect
- Items found to be unusable due to manufacturing defect after 30 days from the purchase date but before 180 days from the purchase date.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within ten (10) business days, a business day being Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays in the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Late or missing refunds

When looking for your refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only exchange non-food items if they are defective or damaged for an item of the same value. If you need to exchange your purchase, please contact us at sales@you.ca.

Exchange and Return Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 333 Richmond Street, London ON, N6A 3C3. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are eligible to receive a replacement because of a manufacturing defect, the cost of shipping the replacement to you will be covered by YOU. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item valued over $75.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
